All MetroParks outdoor park locations remain open from 8:00 a.m. until dusk (normal hours). The importance of social distancing while in the park is still key to preventing the spread of COVID-19. Keep a minimum of 6 feet between you and others not from your household while in the park and elsewhere.
Join us every Thursday this summer from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. as we explore the creeks and waterways in the parks! The program will be held at a different park each week, so there are always new areas to explore! We will be looking for critters like: macroinvertebrates, fossils, fish, reptiles, and amphibians.
This week at Rentschler Forest MetroPark - Timberhill Area, we will explore a direct tributary of the Great Miami River and all the creatures that call it home.
Closed-toed shoes are required for all creeking events. For more information call (513) 867-5835.
