-Will teach players basic throwing and catching skills, will explain how the game of Ultimate is played, and end with a fun scrimmage. The focus is on learning and playing, and it will be a fun and energizing event for the participants. They should come dressed to run (gym shoes, shorts, sun block).
-We’ll have water for the participants.
-The clinic is sponsored by USAU (USA Ultimate) and CUPA (Cincinnati Ultimate Players Association)
-A signed waiver is required for participation. We will distribute a link for this prior to the event (or they can be signed at the event).

Other fun facts – make a day of it!

-The Learn to Play clinic will be part of the US Open Ultimate tournament. There will be teams from the US, Britain, Colombia, Germany, Australia, and Canada at the tournament.
-Games start at 9am, 11:15am, and 1:30pm. If a group wanted to come early and watch a game, or stay after the 10am – noon clinic and watch a game, that would be great! You can bring your lunch to the fields, or there will be food for sale.
