Creeking in the Parks is back again! Join us every Thursday this summer from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. as we explore the creeks and waterways in the parks. This program will be held at a different park each week, so there are always new areas to explore! We will be looking for critters such as: macroinvertebrates, fossils, fish, reptiles, and amphibians.

This week at Elk Creek MetroPark - Sebald Area, we will investigate the great Elk Creek and all its wonders. What animals live here and call it home? What fossils can we find along the banks? Explore with us to find out the answers to these questions for yourself!

Closed-toed shoes are required for all creeking events.

It's harvest time... for strawberries. The Strawberry Moon is the first full moon in June that the Algonquin tribes used to determine their strawberry harvests. Join us on an adventurous night hike to learn more about this interesting full moon while testing your senses in the dark. Free. Registration is required by 6/4/2020.

Step back in time, to the early 1800's and witness living history. Visit with Pioneer and Native American interpreters and demonstrators. Enjoy a variety of musical performances and dances. See live animals and make crafts during your visit at our authentic Pioneer Village.
