Enjoy meandering down the Great Miami River in your kayak or canoe with one of our Rangers as your guide!

Meet the Planet: Jupiter

Join us with members of the Cincinnati Astronomical Society to learn all about our planets! The night will begin with fun crafts for the kids. After it gets dark, we will then view Jupiter and other amazing astronomical phenomenons with some extraordinary telescopes. Bring a blanket or chair and enjoy a relaxing star gazing evening with the family. Come anytime during the program. Free! Registration required by 6/7/2019.

Trail Yoga

Harmonize your breath with the rhythm of nature and unwind from your busy day as we practice mindful movement with traditional yoga poses along the meandering forest trail. All body shapes, sizes, and experience levels are welcome. This is truly something you need to experience to appreciate!

Please note: Wear comfortable “old friend” closed-toed shoes, as we will be out on the trail. You will not need a yoga mat for this program.

Creeking in the Parks - Rentschler Forest Timberhill Area

Join us every Thursday from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. as we explore creeks and waterways at MetroParks of Butler County. We will be at a different park each week, so there are always new areas to explore! The things we will be looking for include: macroinvertebrates, fossils, fish, reptiles, and amphibians.

This week at Rentschler Forest MetroPark – Timberhill Area, we will explore a creek watershed of the Great Miami River. This is a unique opportunity to explore a park area that is generally open by reservation-only. Hope to see you there!

Closed-toes shoes are required for all creeking events
