Explore this beautiful 468 acre reserved area with Dr. Hardy Eshbaugh as our leader. This is a mature secondary woods dominated by a beech and maple forest with a plethora of spring ephemerals. This is a co-sponsored hike with the Audubon Miami Valley and MetroParks of Butler County. Carpool from the old Walmart parking lot on Locust St. in Oxford leaving at 6:30am. There are no toilets or drinking water at this site, so prepare accordingly. Will return to Oxford by 1 p.m. Registration required at www.yourmetroparks.net or call 513-867-5835.
