Title:
Salamander Migration Adventure
Description:
In the very early spring on a warm-enough, wet evening, spotted salamanders at Indian Creek MetroPark begin to move. It happens sometime between the last week of January and the end of March.

Sign up for this unique opportunity to watch these migrating spotted salamanders as they move to breeding vernal pools, and learn more about this species and other amphibian creatures.

Pre-registration is REQUIRED and space is limited. This program is free and open to all ages. A waiting list is available.

You will be contacted by email regarding the exact date and time when the migration begins. We will typically know the evening-before or morning-of. The email will state instructions on how to RSVP and other important information, which includes responding by noon of the program/migration date. If registered participants are unable to attend the program or do not RSVP, we will move on the waiting list.
