Title: Things with Wings: Monarch Tagging and Butterfly Hike - Great Outdoor Weekend
Description: It's butterfly season! There are so many butterflies that live in the MetroParks. Let's see how many we can find!

Join in as we tag (give each butterfly a unique sticker with identifying number) and release monarch butterflies at the shelter on site for Monarch Watch research. Then, go on a hike in the park to catch, identify, and release as many butterfly species as we can on the trail. A limited supply of insect nets will be provided.

FREE and open to all ages. This program is part of Great Outdoor Weekend, presented by Green Umbrella.
Registration is requested, walk-in's are welcome.
