Title:
Things with Wings: Monarch Tagging and Butterfly Hike - Great Outdoor Weekend
Description:
It's butterfly season! There are so many butterflies that live in the MetroParks. Let's see how many we can find!

Join in as we tag (give each butterfly a unique sticker with identifying number) and release monarch butterflies at the shelter on site for Monarch Watch research. Then, go on a hike in the park to catch, identify, and release as many butterfly species as we can on the trail. A limited supply of insect nets will be provided.

FREE and open to all ages. This program is part of Great Outdoor Weekend, presented by Green Umbrella.
Registration is requested, walk-in's are welcome.

Great Outdoor Weekend is Green Umbrella's annual outdoor events sampler, featuring over 100 free outdoor activities hosted by dozens of organizations across Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana. Find your adventure at https://www.greatoutdoorweekend.org
