YOU ONLY NEED TO REGISTER ONCE FOR THE YEAR Walk, hike, or run with us this year in our Run The Parks 5k Series while we explore a different MetroPark in Butler County. This family-friendly, non-competitive 5k series will take place on the first Saturday of every month. Route details will be provided upon registration. Tiered prizes will be awarded based on how many of the twelve 5k’s you participate in!

January: Rentschler Forest
Join us for a chilly run of Rentschler Forest as we explore all the highlights of the park in winter. Run along the Great Miami River, follow the Miami-Erie Canal, checkout frozen waterfalls as you move through the forest, and explore the newly rerouted Pumpkin Vine trail. Wrap up the 5k with hot chocolate and light snacks by the fire pit at the finish line.

This 3.2-mile marked course is a mix of paved and natural surface trails and may be subject to snow. There will be a water and first aid station at the 1.5-mile point, then return to it at 2.7 miles.

Check-in begins at 10:00 AM, and the run starts at 10:30 AM. Participants only need to register once for the year and then may participate in as many runs as they would like.
