Title: Run The Parks 5k Series: June - 029
Description: Walk, hike, or run with us this year in our Run The Parks 5k Series while we explore a different MetroPark in Butler County. This family-friendly, non-competitive 5k series will take place on the first Saturday of every month. Route details will be provided upon registration. Tiered prizes will be awarded based on how many of the twelve 5ks you participate in!

April: Forest Run Wildlife Preserve Area
We are right in the heart of Spring now, and as the wildlife in our parks is getting moving we hope youll join them at the Forest Run MetroParks Wildlife Preserve Area. With a creek, woods, meadows, a prairie, and a wetland. Participants will pass through a wide array of habitats on this months run!

This 2.9-mile marked natural surface course takes participants through a wide array of habitats as they start on our Creekside trail then head back for a run through the Meadow Trails into the Woodlands trail and back out to the prairie overlook trail. There will be a first aid and water station at the 1.5-mile point. Specific details about the route will be provided via email the week of.

Check-in begins at 8:30 AM, and the run starts at 9:00 AM. Participants only need to register once for the year and then may participate in as many runs as they would like.
