Experience Nature in a Blink, a year-long series where you become eyewitness to the elusive wonders of nature at your favorite MetroParks.


Each fall monarch butterflies migrate up to thousands of miles to their overwintering sites in Mexico. Learn what makes these insects unique, as well as how to safely capture, tag, and release them. Become a part of an international effort to contribute valuable data, protecting this endangered phenomenon, and learn what you can do to promote their success.
