Show and Tell on the Farm - Reading the Weather

Come on out and learn about how the weather and seasons affect life on the farm. Visit with Mrs. Lynn White from Butler County Soil and Water Conservation District. We will try out some weather experiments, crafts and of course visit with the farm animals, too. FREE program for all ages.

Show and Tell on the Farm - ABC's of Farm Life Letters U, V & W

What begins with the letters U, V & W at the farm? Investigate udders, weather vanes and weaving through fun activities, crafts and visiting with the farm animals during our ABC's of Farm Life Show and Tell. Special guest Mrs. Nancy Clark will help us explore the world of weaving. FREE program for all ages.

Do you know the difference between a gourd and a pumpkin? After going on a scavenger hunt, we will learn to decorate and dry our gourds to take home. Help us make a feast for the farm animals out of some of the gourds and pumpkins, too.

Let's Go Hiking! Winter Tree ID

Trees sure look different come wintertime! How can we figure out what species of tree it is while the leaves are gone? Letís go hiking to identify trees in the winter, using other parts of the tree such as the bark, buds, and branches.
