Did you know that with a little planning and imagination, you can eat a rainbow as part of your daily diet? What do we have growing at the farm that could be part of the rainbow? Crazy Cardboard Regatta- Postponed to 2022

The 2021 Crazy Cardboard Regatta has been postponed to 2022.


BOATS! BOATS! BOATS! Cardboard boats, that is. The MetroParks of Butler County presents the return of the Crazy Cardboard Regatta on Saturday, September 11th from 11:00 AM-3:00 PM at Voice of America MetroPark in West Chester!

Do you think you’ve got what it takes? Then, sign your team up to build your own cardboard boat and join the amazing race around the lake!

Sea legs aren’t quite ready; you say? No problem! Vendors, entertainment, activities, and more await you upon shore.

Either way, come on out for some summer family fun, and don’t forget to keep calm and boat on! FREE for spectators!

Cash or check will be required for boats registering the day of the event.

As migratory birds are starting their journey south in preparation for winter, many species will pass through Ohio. Let’s go hiking to look for these beautiful birds as they make their way to Central and South American countries!

Things that Flutter: Monarch & Butterfly Hunt

Join us for Great Outdoor Weekend, hosted by Green Umbrella!

Let’s search for butterflies! This park is full of wonderful plants for pollinators, and tons of butterflies!

Join MetroParks and Bob Nuhn on a hunt for these fluttering beauties! Bob has had the butterfly "bug" ever since childhood and has led a local butterfly count for years - even submitting his findings to the North American Butterfly Association.
